The time is forever and always right,
when you are trying to simply write.
And there is so, so much time left,
that all you have to do is just try.
Come up with crazy little words
that strum one’s heart like a songbird.
Find a way to open up your heart,
and just maybe you’ll find a way into hers.
Take a chance, you can’t go wrong
when you’ve been trying all along.
Make a face that she can’t forget,
one she’ll remember when you’re gone.
Don’t forget what made you happy,
because happiness is all we need.
There are too many problems in the world,
in this so-called reality.
Just remember that all we have is time,
time for the wrongs, and time for the rights,
time for the ups, and time for the downs,
but all we really have left is time,
and that is what makes a life.
