There is a world beneath the microscope;
where the littlest of things matter most,
And life is, I might say, simple at best,
where countless atoms play, and never rest.
The world that we thought we knew,
broken down to what we now know as true.
And in this world, there are endless possibilities,
that only you or I could ever hope to dream.
And this world beneath the microscope,
is all that makes up the world we know.
How strange that might truly seem,
but all one needs is to look below the sea,
and to breathe ever so madly and deeply.
To look at life in a new kind of way,
that will help us understand what is today.
Though sometimes it is better not to know,
because then we’re not driven by endless hope.
And, much of the time, we tend to be,
rather than looking past what we can already see.
And to see the world beneath the magnifying glass,
if only that moment would forever last.
