152. Between Me & You

I try to be the friend I’d want to have;

the one who is always there. Always.

The friend that never leaves your side,

even when they’re going through a tough time.

I’d always try to be that friend,

always, even if our friendship hits

a solid dead end, I’d still be your friend.

And I am gullible to the point,

where I’d actually believe

that my friendship truly matters,

so that I may continue to be

your friend,

and so that it may never

end. 

The only thing…

is that friends come and go,

and they always do,

and so does the hope

of an everlasting friendship,

between me and you.
